Mary S. Jubinsky
Mary S. Jubinsky, 95, fell asleep in the Lord on Friday evening, November 8, 2013.
She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-five years, Anthony Jubinsky in 2008; her parents, Andrew and Tillie (Cydylo) Strosky; three brothers and three sisters. Mary is survived by her three loving and devoted daughters, Rose and Dan Gorey, Diane Bartlow and William Petriccione, and Mary Ann and John Hrywnak; nine grandchildren and their families, Christine and Jason Falcone and their son, Nathan; Deborah and Joseph Darling and their children, Anthony, Alena and Anna; Nicole and Joseph Woosman and their daughter, Miranda; Daniel III and Kimberly Gorey and their sons, Daniel IV and Aiden; Jessica Bartlow and Jonathan Bentley; David and Heather Bartlow and their son, David Anthony; Rebecca and Michael Jones; Julie Hrywnak; Katelynn and Joshua Hrywnak and their daughter, Hannah; and two special nieces, Beverly Michalko and Martha Fedorchak. She appreciated the special attention by her friend, Pat Randall. She was a member of Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church and St. Anne's Guild. She was a retired employee of the G.A.F. Corporation, Binghamton. Mary loved her family and enjoyed going for rides, cooking and baking, especially her apple pies. She is remembered for giving the appropriate number of pennies to her grandchildren in their birthday cards. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m. at Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 54 Baxter St., Binghamton with the Rev. Ilya Gotlinsky officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 9 a.m. until the time of the services at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary's memory to either Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church or to the S.A.S. Foundation, P.O. Box 602, Bible School Park, NY 13737. Grandma says, "Good night and don't let the bed bugs bite."
